Back in 2004, the Land Rover Company has extended the Range Rover lineup with a Sport model. It represents the smaller, more affordable and more agile version of the large full size SUV-Range Rover. And although the company already has the Evoque and Velar models in the offer, the Range Rover Sport seems to be very popular on the roads and the company has sold a great amount of these vehicles since it has been introduced. Now the upcoming 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is once again set for a redesign.
For the 2018 model year, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport will bring many upgrades. It is going to be refreshed in all segments so as the more powerful SVR version. The exterior styling will be slightly revised but it will generally look almost identical to the current model. Inside, it will feature two large displays with upgraded infotainment system. Furthermore, the range-topping SVR will get even more power than before under its hood. As well, what we find very interesting is that the future Land Rover will also offer a hybrid version of this model.
2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport types of engines and performances
Under the hood of the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will be placed several types of engine. The base will be a 3.0-liter V-6 supercharged unit which will deliver 340 horsepower. The next option will be a 3.0-liter V-6 turbocharged powertrain. This one will have the output of 254 hp. This one will use the same 5.0-liter V-8 which will produce even 575 horses.
