2018 Land Rover Range Rover: Release Date, Redesign

Although it has received many upgrades during the decades, the Land Rover Range Rover has retained its authentic design. Since it was firstly introduced, this model has become one of the most capable vehicles on the road. 2018 Land Rover Range Rover: Powertrain

2018 Land Rover Range Rover will be powered with several engines. The base model will have a 3.0-liter V-6 supercharged gasoline engine. This one will be able to make 340 horses and 332 pound-feet of torque.

The next option will be a 3.0-liter V-6 turbocharged diesel unit. This engine will generate 245 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The third option is going to be a 5.0-liter V-8 supercharged engine with the output of 510 horsepower.

The last one will be the most powerful unit ever used in this model. It is the same 5.0-liter V-8 supercharged engine which will power the top SV Autobiography Dynamic model. This engine will be capable of producing amazing 550 horses and 502 pound-feet of torque.

All the engines will be coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive configuration will be standard.

As for the fuel economy, with V-6 engines, it is rated at 22 mpg in the city, 29 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg combined. With the V-8 unit, it shows 14∕19 mpg in the city ∕ highway drive.

2018 Land Rover Range Rover will combine its classic and boxy appearance with modern lines. The front fascia will most likely receive a new design of the grille and revised bumper. Both headlamps and tail lights should be refreshed too. The LED headlights are expected to be standard on all models. The new Rover will ride on alloy wheels which be offered in a range from 18- to 21-inch depending on the trim level.

Inside, 2018 Land Rover Range Rover will be spacious and very well equipped, even in the base model. The seats are very comfortable and covered with soft leather. Furthermore, the dashboard will get the new 10.0-inch touchscreen with latest infotainment system. Some of the available safety features will be a rearview camera, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitors and so on.

The information about the arrival of the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover is still not revealed. However, if the rumors are true, it should appear sometime in late 2017. As for the price, it should be much higher than the price of the current model which starts at roughly $86,000.
