Ford’s luxury car division is planning a redesigned version of the relatively new MKC. Lincoln had launched the crossover in just 2013 by unveiling its concept at the LA Auto Show. Since production ensued in 2015, this vehicle has been quite popular. That is why the American manufacturer is planning to launch the refreshed 2018 Lincoln MKC. For instance, the 2018 Lincoln MKC will have a choice of two amazing engines. The first will be a 2.0-liter unit that’s capable of producing 240 hp. This model will be paired with front-wheel drive only. The all-wheel drive version will have a 2.3-liter EcoBoost unit. This engine is capable of churning out 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. Both engines will be paired with a six-speed auto gearbox, yet the manufacturer might offer a new 10-speed automatic transmission as well.

The 2018 MKC will be among to most fuel-efficient crossovers in its segment. Its front-wheel-drive version will have an economy of around 20 mpg in cities and 28 mpg on highways. The all-wheel drive version will have a fuel economy of 18 mpg in cities and 25 on highways. Lincoln has not made any formal announcement regarding the released date. However, experts speculate that the 2018 Lincoln MKC will come out this fall. Therefore the price should range from $34,000 to $40,000, which will depend on the trim level you choose.
