2018 Volvo XC70: Review, Price, Wagon

The XC70 model was firstly introduced almost a decade ago, as the stronger alternative of the V70 wagon. Then it has been redesigned as the 2015 model year and mildly upgraded in 2016 when it received a new powertrain and more tech features .So now it is coming as the 2018 Volvo XC70.

This model represents one of the Company’s oldest crossovers on the market with wagon-based body. It is tough, practical and functional. It provides comfortable ride for both front and rear passengers. Furthermore, it offers great cargo space which makes it great for traveling. The fuel economy is excellent with front-wheel drive configuration while with AWD, the efficiency is just average.

The question is what we can expect for the upcoming 2018 model. Well, there is still no any official information, but we can assume that it might receive some changes in styling, since its exterior is getting a bit old. Moreover, it will most likely get upgraded tech features and more standard equipment.

Acura MDX, Lexus RX 350, Subaru Outback and Audi Allroad will be its toughest competitors.

Design of exterior and interior

When it comes to exterior design, the 2018 Volvo XC70 will probably continue with similar design cues as the current model. However, in order to make it more competitive and fresher, the car maker will most likely give it some cosmetic changes. We assume that it might get revised grille and headlamps. The rear fascia should also be refreshed with new tail lights and refreshed bumper. Furthermore, it could get some new exterior colors too.
