The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a mid-size crossover SUV which delivers really good off-road capability, attractive design, and roomy cabin. At the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Japanese carmaker has presented the current, 2018 model year but this time we will talk about the upcoming 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Based on the latest reports, this version probably won’t be changed since the current model has been revised and upgraded with some new tech features.
The current Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been refreshed with several styling tweaks which made it look more modern. The cabin has also been revised and now looks more refined and there are more tech features in the offer. The safety equipment has also been enhanced and they include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert. Under the hood, they are several diesel and petrol units in the offer and so as inline-4 and V-6 types of engines. Furthermore, the Land Cruiser Prado is available in four flavors which differ in seating configurations and equipment. Those are GX, GXL, VX, and Kakadu trim levels. So, it is available as five- and seven-seat versions.
The new Toyota will find major rivals in Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Holden Trailblazer, and Isuzu MU-X.
