However, Mazda opted for this name for numerous reasons. At 173.0-inches long, this model will slot between two segments.
The arriving model is larger than the subcompact vehicles and smaller than compact. It became a thing over the years and Mazda is following the same path. The front fascia looks mean and simple. Mazda offers so many shiny trims and the complete look of the vehicle is totally modern.
The forthcoming 2020 Mazda CX-30 won’t belong to the subcompact crossover segment. Whatsoever, this model is too small to compete in the compact segment. That means the CX-30 will slot somewhere between the segments.
Mazda did purposely and the manufacturer is following the trends set by other established rivals. The CX-30 is 173.0-inches long. On top of that, this model is 70.7 inches wide and 60.6-inches tall. The wheelbase is 104.5 inches long. With such compact dimensions, CX-30 is smaller than the CX-3 model.

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 will face many rivals. Whatsoever, this crossover will be one of the smallest models in this category.
Mazda’s new model will rival Jeep Compass, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and Nissan Rogue Sport. Moreover, Subaru Crosstrek, Jeep Renegade, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and Nissan Kicks are also one of the toughest rivals. Interestingly, Mazda CX-30 comes with the smallest wheelbase in this segment.
CX-30 Will Borrow Engine Lineup

The naturally-aspirated powertrain is producing 186 horsepower and we can expect the same figures with this crossover. A 6-speed automatic transmission is available.
Optionally, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available. This unit is more recommendable for various reason. It provides more power and it delivers better fuel economy.
